1 LITRE MERCEDES BRILLIANT SILVER COLOUR CODE 744 SOLVENT BASECOAT CAR PAINT

Solvent basecoat car paints are suitable for air-drying or oven-baking.
Excellent covering power, and easy application qualities. 2:1 Mix
They are quick drying and have good chemical resistance. They may be used for small repairs or complete surface recoating. Over 20,000 colours available.

This paint colour requires a lacquer coat to provide a gloss finish.

MIXING:
Mix by volume 2 parts of basecoat paint : 1 Part basecoat thinner
Additional Basecoat Thinner may be added if required, however this may reduce the opacity.
Stir well and filter before use.

SPRAY PRESSURE;
50-60 PSI (3-4 bar) at gun.
GUN SET-UP
1.4-1.6 Compliant spray gun.

APPLICATION:
Apply 2-3 coats with 5-10 minutes between coats to allow to flash off. The basecoat must be
over coated with 2K clear coat within 1 hour of application to ensure inter-coat adhesion.

POT LIFE:
Approximately 24hrs at 20’C.
DRYING
Touch Dry: 20 minutes.
